研究方向

實驗室主要以分子遺傳學的方式研究人類致病真菌 光滑念珠菌 (Candida glabrata) 及 煙麴黴菌 (Aspergillus fumigatus) 之發育、黏附力及毒力相關機制。實驗室會使用的技術實驗包括 基因重組、基因選殖、轉型、基因表現定量、突變株性狀分析及動物實驗。

Research Interests

 

I am interested in the molecular mechanisms of development, adherence and virulence in human fungal pathogens Candida glabrata and Aspergillus fumigatus. Molecular techniques, cellular biology tools and animal models are used to characterize the functions of a specific gene in these fungal pathogens but not limited to. 

Current projects:

Signaling pathway in C. glabrata

Gene regulation and nutrients transport in A. fumigatus

Identification of antifungal drugs (collaboration with Prof. Tien-Sheng Tseng, IMB, NCHU)

Probiotics in vulvovaginal candidiasis (collaboration with Dr. Ming-Horng Tsai, Chia-Yi Chang Gung hospital)
